First Tooth Gone!

Austin lost his first tooth. It had been loose for quite a while and so luckily it came out with minimal drama. For some reason our kids have been really late to lose teeth, Austin being no exception. He was pretty excited and I must say I think kids this age are so cute when they lose their front teeth.

Seattle

In April Bill and I went to Seattle for a little vacation. It was so fun to go back to the place I grew up. I don't go as often as I like as most of my family has moved here to Utah. Just walking around Seattle brings back so many memories. People ask me if I miss the Northwest and I think I do in some ways and I don't in others. I love the sun and I didn't realize how little you get to see it up there - but when you do it's quite spectacular. Anyway, Bill and I stayed at the Edgewater which is a hotel right over the water on the pier. You could see the ships and ferries as they came into the harbor. We then went and stayed with my little sis, Amy and her husband Sam. We had such a great time. Here are a few pictures of our little getaway:

Baseball

Austin Running Home
Alex playing shortstop
Ben getting a hit

After six games a week (three boys, two games each, not to mention practices), baseball is finally over. Although it was so fun, it is nice to have our evenings back. Each boy did really well. Alex missed the playoffs by a half game and Ben's team was tied for second in their division but also missed the playoffs when they lost the tie breaker. (Austin's league doesn't have playoffs). Each player was an All-star in my book!

Alice in Wonderland

Last month Alex, Austin, and Erin were in an awesome play, Disney's Alice in Wonderland Jr., directed by our good friend and neighbor Dana Francis. They loved it so much. Alex was the Mad Hatter, Austin was Tweedle Dum, and Erin was a Lady Bug. I was so proud of them - they did such a great job!

A Fun Filled Night

Tonight Bill, me, the boys, and Darin and Jordan Myers rode Frontrunner to the Salt Lake Bees game. Erin chose (begged) to stay home with her best friend Lyndi. The evening was really fun except that it took quite a bit longer than I expected to take public transportation. We had great seats and the Bee's won. The San Diego Chicken was even there visiting. He was up to his usual antics which made it an even more fun evening!
